Everyone likes a good story. They want to know what’s behind what they’re putting their money into. My primary occupation is in healthcare and I was drawn to this field by being able to serve other’s when they are in a vulnerable state. My story starts back when I was a child and decided to follow Christ for the rest of my life. He is the model servant and my life goal is to be daily conformed to His image. I had the blessing of working alongside and learning from my father and grandfather in some basic woodworking and just “honey do” projects around the house growing up. Now that I have a family of my own, I realize that God has given me lots of talents and I want to use them for His glory. I pray that my sons will have a servant heart and one day I can teach him how to use His talents for God’s glory as well.
As we like every story to have a happy ending, these thoughts are what have led me to take a hobby I enjoy – like woodworking – and share it with all of you. My prayer is that you can use the furniture to serve others and it can be a reminder that Christ came to earth originally as a carpenter under His father and ultimately to serve humanity by dying on the cross and rising again.
